The Onion River, Near Waldo - Sheboygan County Wisconsin

This river has been beautifully restored by the Wisconsin DNR, Trout Unlimited and several other organizations. It coughed up 2 trout during my recent visit. The larger one was a 9" Brookie that my Son-in-Law Chris spotted. He said, "Dad, cast over there, I gotta take a call." and after a couple of casts the fish grabbed my parachute sulpher. At least one of us went home smiling!
